Entrance Fees & Opening hours
With your ticket you can visit both Butterfly Garden and New Museum on different days within one season. There are no discounts offered in case you wish to visit only one of our attractions.
You find easy accessibility for handicapped people and wheelchairs to both our butterfly garden and the museum in Sayn Palace. The group price applies to wheelchair users and other disabled visitors, the registered companion is free.
Groups of more than 20 persons are requested to book in advance.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring dogs with you in the Neues Museum or in the butterfly garden.

Daily from 15 March to 10 November 2024:
until end of September from 10:00 to 18:00h*,
in October from 10:00 to 17:00h*,
in November from 10:00 to 16:00h*.
*Last admission 30 minutes before closing time

FREE GUIDED TOUR
With us you can experience two fairytale worlds with one admission ticket: the Garden of Butterflies and the New Museum at Sayn Castle. We offer our guests “SaynGuide”, a VIRTUAL TOUR through the New Museum and the Butterfly Garden. With the help of the “QR codes” you can access useful, interesting and entertaining information at the various stations in German, English, French or Italian – optionally with audios, images, videos and texts.
